Casual Wellbeing Workers

Zero Hour Contract

£8.65 per hour

Pension: Auto Enrolment, unless Opt-out

 

The above positions are required to cover our services for annual leave and absenteeism and therefore we cannot guarantee a set amount of hours on a weekly or monthly basis

 

Applicants will need to have a commitment to delivering quality services; a positive attitude to people with mental health and learning disabilities and be effective team players.

 

Previous experience of working with a vulnerable client group is essential. The post will require the successful applicant to travel within the County Borough of Bridgend, therefore a driving license and access to a car for the purpose of work is essential. Both positions are subject to DBS checks.

Volunteering

 

Could you find the time to be a volunteer to improve the quality of life for people who live in Bridgend?

 

If you:

 

·         can spare 1-2 hours a week (or more)

·         have good listening and communication skills

·         have an empathy with the needs of older people

·         have a sense of commitment

·         have a understanding of mental health or learning disabilities

 

we would like to hear from you

 

Full training and support is given.

 

 

All volunteers will be selected subject to interview, satisfactory references and a Criminal Records Bureau check.

 

We have a number of different volunteering roles  

 

Wellbeing Drop-In, Over 50’s Community Café’s, Friends of Coity Clinic (hospital inpatient), Sessional volunteers.
