Mental Health Matters Wales’s

Befriending and Mentoring Project will end on the 31st July 2017

We would like to thank the Big Lottery Fund “AdvantAGE” programme for funding the project from October 2011 up until October 2016.

We would also like to thank Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board for funding the project from November 2016 to the 31st March 2017 through their Intermediate Care Fund.

With the funding support from the Big Lottery Fund and Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board (and self-funding by MHM Wales) the Befriending and Mentoring project successfully provided direct support to 284 beneficiaries, helping to reduce loneliness & social isolation whilst also enabling beneficiaries to develop new friendships, build confidence and learn new skills.
